RB - CAR
Week 13 Outlook
Chuba Hubbard rushed 17 times for 65 yards in Carolina's 23-10 win over the Broncos.
Hubbard played behind D'Onta Foreman this week, but the game script led to both running backs seeing a significant workload. However, games like this are likely going to be a rare occurrence for the Panthers going forward, so don't expect both backs to be involved like this again. Hubbard is the clear backup to Foreman, making him a difficult fantasy option to trust.
Chuba Hubbard carried the ball four times for zero yards and caught two passes for 25 yards in Sunday's 13-3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Hubbard struggled on Sunday, not logging a single yard on the ground in a loss to the Ravens. He caught a couple of passes, but it wasn't enough to make up for his lack of production on the ground. He's the clear-cut RB2 behind D'Onta Foreman, but he isn't worth rostering moving forward.
Chuba Hubbard rushed five times for 14 yards and received zero targets in Thursday's 25-15 win over the Falcons.
What a disappointment Thursday night was for Hubbard and his fantasy managers, as D'Onta Foreman dominated the workload with 31 carries compared to Hubbard's five. On top of that, Foreman was the more explosive and physical runner all night long. Don't be surprised if Foreman is named the official starter and Hubbard's fantasy value quickly disappears in the next week or two.
RB Chuba Hubbard is expected to be active for the Carolina Panthers after missing the last two games with injury.
Hubbard and RB D'Onta Foreman had a strong outing a few weeks back, but Hubbard has been out, allowing Foreman to operate as the RB1. With Hubbard active, he can be expected to eat into Foreman's workload as the Panthers utilize an RB-by-committee approach.
Chuba Hubbard is questionable with an ankle injury heading into Carolina's Thursday night matchup with the Falcons.
Hubbard has missed the last two weeks with this ankle injury, but he was able to practice in a limited fashion on Monday and Tuesday. This likely means he is truly questionable and a decision will come closer to game time. If he is ruled out, D'Onta Foreman will continue to see the bulk of the rushing volume while it will likely turn into more of a split if Hubbard is good to go. Continue to monitor his status throughout the day on Thursday.
