Damarious Randall signed a one-year, $3.25 million deal with the Raiders on Thursday.
Randall racked up 61 tackles, 2.5 sacks and six pass defenses across 11 games for the Browns last season. He missed time in 2019 due to disciplinary issues. Randall has posted solid totals in back-to-back seasons and will compete for a starting safety job during training camp.
Browns safety Damarious Randall was ejected from Thursday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after delivering a helmet-to-helmet hit to Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson in the third quarter.
Thursday's game has been filled with injuries, and league officials were likely sensitive to the Randall hit after Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster left the game earlier in the night after receiving multiple hits to his head on the same play.
Cleveland Brows defensive back Damarious Randall has been ruled out for Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Randall is still dealing with concussion issues and will not be able to suit up for Sunday Night Football. His absence ensures Cleveland will be missing their entire secondary. The Rams receivers all have added intrigue for Sunday Night DFS contests.
Damarious Randall will not be playing Monday night against the New York Jets due to a concussion.
As the starting strong safety against the Tennessee Titans, Randall logged four solo tackles and one pass defended. Eric Murray and rookie Sheldrick Redwine will have to fill the vacancy on MNF against the New York Jets.
Browns defensive back Damarious Randall recorded three tackles (all solo) and one interception in Sunday’s 35-10 win over the Bengals.
After the interception, Randall proceeded to hand the ball to recently fired Browns coach-turned Bengals assistant Hue Jackson. It was his third interception of the season and first since Week 4. The Texans are up next in Week 13.
