Week 14 Outlook
Availability
Minnesota Vikings K Dan Bailey has been released by the organization after three seasons, as reported by ESPN's Dianna Russini.
Fantasy Impact
Bailey struggled during a few clutch moments for the Vikings in 2020, finishing the season 15-of-22 with his longest conversion coming from 53 yards. Unfortunately, the veteran kicker only managed to go 6-of-12 from 40+ yards, contributing to the ongoing kicking woes that Minnesota has endured for years. Bailey will likely end up competing for a starting job as he hits free agency, although he will need to improve his accuracy to return value for fantasy managers in 2021.
Dan Bailey converted one of two field-goal attempts and four of five extra-point attempts in the Vikings’ 37-35 win over the Lions on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Bailey missed two kicks, though fortunately the four points he left on the table didn't impact the win. His 2020 season wasn't one that fantasy managers will likely remember, and Bailey will be tough to trust in 2021.
Dan Bailey made three of four extra-point attempts in the Vikings' 52-33 loss to the Saints on Christmas.
Fantasy Impact
Minnesota was crushed in this one, and Bailey wasn't given many opportunities to score. He'll look to bounce back against Detroit in Week 17, though Bailey is off the fantasy radar for the regular-season finale.
Dan Bailey made both of his field-goal attempts and all three of his extra-point attempts in the Vikings’ 33-27 loss to the Bears on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Bailey bounced back from his disastrous Week 14 with a perfect 5-for-5 showing. He'll be on the streaming radar against New Orleans in Week 16.
Dan Bailey missed all three of his field-goal attempts and converted one of two extra-point attempts in the Vikings’ 26-14 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
It was a disastrous afternoon for Bailey who left 10 points on the table in a game decided by 12 points. He’ll look to improve on this performance in Week 15 against Chicago, but he won’t be a recommended fantasy play for that one.
