WR - CAR
According to sources, former Seahawks WR David Moore has a deal in place to join the Carolina Panthers. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Moore will take advantage of Curtis Samuel's exit and join the Carolina receiving corps on a new contract. Moore registered 35 catches for 417 receiving yards with a career-high six touchdowns in 16 games for Seattle last season. He'll likely slot in as the WR3 in Carolina, but that's not saying much with Christian McCaffrey, DJ Moore, and Robby Anderson all competing for targets.
David Moore caught 3-of-5 targets for 20 yards and a touchdown in a 40-3 blowout win over the Jets in Week 14.
Moore now has six touchdown receptions on the season, but has only gained 357 total yards through the air. He has just 41 yards in his last five games, so he's truly a TD-dependent option in only the deepest of leagues. He'll get a crack at the Washington Football Team in Week 15.
David More caught 3-of-3 targets for -6 yards and a touchdown in a 23-17 Week 12 win over the Eagles.
That's right, Moore totaled negative six yards on three catches, but managed to find the end zone for the fifth time this season. He's not a recommended play in Week 13 against the Giants with both D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett seeing a majority of Russell Wilson's targets.
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver David Moore is active for Monday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Moore participated in limited practices on Thursday and Friday and was officially listed as questionable on the team's final injury report. The red zone weapon is up to four touchdowns on the season but has seen more than three receptions just once. Moore makes more of an impact on the field than in fantasy, and his presence, along with the return of Chris Carson, should allow the offense to fire on all cylinders.
Seahawks WR David Moore caught both of his targets for five yards in the Seahawks' Week 11 win over the Cardinals.
Fantasy managers probably expected more out of Moore. With WR Tyler Lockett battling through a knee injury, there was a chance that Moore could see more targets, but that was clearly not the case and was barely involved in the game plan. He'll be a fringe asset for fantasy managers as long as Lockett and DK Metcalf are starting and will be a TD dependent WR5 next week against the Eagles.
