Current free-agent and former Washington Football Team RB Derrius Guice still faces a six-game suspension due to violation of the league's personal conduct policy, despite a Virginia judge dismissing his misdemeanor domestic violence charge due to a previous settlement.
Guice was selected in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of LSU but rarely saw the field due to injuries. The report goes on to add that these allegations were reported to the school at the time, but LSU did not appear to investigate. This is a troubling development for both Guice and his alma mater, and, after going unclaimed on waivers 10 days ago, Guice's career in the NFL may already be over. After being drafted by Washington in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft, Guice has played just five games combined over his first two seasons in the NFL due to injuries.
