Geno Atkins
DT - CIN - OUT
Week 17 Outlook
Bengals DT Geno Atkins (shoulder) has been placed on the league's Reserve/Injured list due to a right shoulder injury.
Fantasy Impact
Atkins has been with the Bengals since they drafted him in the fourth round in 2010. The eight-time Pro Bowler, who has the third-most sacks (75.5) in team history, will likely miss the remainder of the 2020 season. The Bengals defense will have a hard time containing the Steelers in Week 15 and the absence of Atkins presents an opportunity for RB James Conner to have a bounce-back game on Monday Night Football.
DT Geno Atkins (shoulder) will play Sunday’s Week 5 game against the Ravens.
Fantasy Impact
Atkins was a full participant in Friday’s practice and doesn’t carry an injury designation for Week 5. He will make his season debut this week. Atkins will give the Bengals defense a significant boost and look to help slow down the Ravens offense on Sunday.
DT Geno Atkins (shoulder) didn't participate in Thursday's practice.
Fantasy Impact
Atkins is dealing with a shoulder injury and has missed the first two games of the season. He has yet to practice and is trending in the wrong direction of making his season debut Week 3 against the Eagles. Christian Covington would once again start if Atkins is ruled out on Sunday.
The Bengals have ruled out Geno Atkins (shoulder) for their Week 2 matchup against the Browns.
Fantasy Impact
It's a boost to Nick Chubb and the Browns' running game. Atkins also missed Week 1 with the same shoulder injury.
Bengals DT Geno Atkins (shoulder) will not play Sunday versus the Los Angeles Chargers.
Fantasy Impact
The Bengals will be without their All-Pro DT, giving a boost to Austin Ekeler's fantasy value this week. News of Atkins' absence also downgrades Cincinnati DST for Week 1.
