Former Cincinnati Bengals DT Geno Atkins (shoulder) is set to undergo a checkup with Dallas Cowboys' team doctor Dan Cooper in a few weeks and should be cleared from a torn rotator cuff by July 1st, per Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Atkins suffered a torn rotator cuff during 2020, limiting him to minimal production compared to his previous years as an All-Pro and Pro-Bowl caliber defensive tackle for the Bengals. The veteran expects to be cleared by July 1 and has multiple teams that remain interested in his services for the upcoming 2021 season.
