Graham Gano placed on IR

The Panthers have placed Graham Gano on season-ending IR due to a knee injury.

Fantasy Impact

Gano has been replaced by Chandler Catanzaro as the team's kicker for the remainder of the year. Gano should be back next year in the same role considering he signed a long-term deal entering the 2018 season. He finished the season 14-of-16 on field goals and 30-of-33 on extra points.

Graham Gano ruled out Week 14

Graham Gano has been ruled out Week 14 due to a knee injury.

Fantasy Impact

Gano will be replaced by the recently signed Chandler Catanzaro. Gano has had his struggles this season, and he's not worth holding through the injury as it's not clear when he'll return.

Graham Gano totals five points in Week 13 loss

Panthers K Graham Gano was successful on his only field goal attempt and on both of his extra point attempts in Sunday's Week 13 loss to Tampa Bay.

Fantasy Impact

While Gano didn't miss a kick this week, he also didn't get very many opportunities to produce for his fantasy owners. There must be something in the water in Carolina, losers of four straight games since getting blown out by the Steelers a month ago. Gano will look to get back on track in Week 14 against the Browns.

Graham Gano totals nine points in Week 12 loss

Panthers K Graham Gano was successful on 2-of-3 field goal attempts and on all three of his extra point tries in Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Seahawks.

Fantasy Impact

While Gano made 5-of-6 kicks, his lone missed field goal cost the Panthers a win. Gano has now missed two field goals and an extra point in the past two games combined and could be on his way out.

Graham Gano misses two kicks in Week 11 loss

Panthers K Graham Gano missed his only field goal attempt and only made 1-of-2 extra point attempts in Sunday's Week 11 loss to the Lions.

Fantasy Impact

Gano's missed kicks didn't only hinder his fantasy totals, but they also cost the Panthers a win or a tie. If he made the field goal, the Panthers could have won the game. But if he at least made the extra point, he would have tied it and perhaps forced an overtime. Either way, it wouldn't surprise me if Carolina moved on from Gano as a result. Though since the kicking game around the NFL has been terrible as a while this season, he may be forgiven.
