DE - CAR
Week 7 Outlook
Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Panthers have signed LB Haason Reddick to a one-year deal worth up to $8M.
Coming off a breakout year in 2020 with Arizona where he totaled 12.5 sacks, Reddick will be reunited with former Temple coach Matt Rhule in Carolina. The contract for Reddick will be a one-year deal worth up to $8M. Reddick was one of the top pass rushers in free agency and should have an immediate impact on the Carolina defensive line.
Per source, the Arizona Cardinals are not picking up the fifth-year option on LB Haason Reddick.
A former 2017 13th overall pick out of Temple, Reddick hasn’t missed a single game while playing for the Cardinals in three seasons. In 48 games, he’s totaled 192 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles. He’ll have added motivation in a contract year on a defense that should be much improved with the addition of their newest draft pick, LB/S Isaiah Simmons out of Clemson.
Hasson Reddick finished Sunday’s game against the Falcons with eight total tackles (seven solo).
Reddick is currently second on the team in total tackles with 45 through Week 6. In deeper IDP leagues he is a great Bye Week replacement at the LB spot.
Haason Reddick collected three solo tackles and one assisted tackle in the Arizona Cardinals Week 7 loss to the Denver Broncos.
Reddick is still only a part-time player, but if Deone Bucannon is traded as the rumors suggest Reddick would be a sneaky high-upside pickup. Keep your eye on him.
LB Haason Reddick recorded eight solo tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss, one forced fumble, and two passes defensed in the Arizona Cardinals' Week 5 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Cardinals have been waiting for Reddick to have a game like this since they drafted him in the first round last year. He may be a one-hit wonder, but he may not. He's worth a speculative add on a Cardinals defense that will have the opportunity to rack up individual stats all year long, especially with the recent news that Arizona is looking to trade Deone Bucannon.
