QB - New York Giants
The New York Giants are signing QB Jacob Eason to their practice squad, giving them another option under center.
The Giants are facing QB injury issues with Daniel Jones out for the remainder of the season and Tyrod Taylor potentially facing the same fate. Rookie QB Tommy DeVito is the last option left, so the Giants are exploring other options, including long-time backup Eason. The Giants also have journeyman Matt Barkley on the practice squad.
The Green Bay Packers hosted free agent QB Jacob Eason for a workout.
Eason was released by the Panthers back in May. He will look to find a new landing spot as a depth quarterback this upcoming season.
The Carolina Panthers have released QB Jacob Eason from their practice squad.
QB Sam Darnold was activated off of IR in a corresponding move. Eason made one appearance for the Panthers back in Week 6. The second-year man out of Washington will do what he can to join another team's roster next.
The Carolina Panthers signed QB Jacob Eason to the practice squad Wednesday.
Eason will provide some depth with Sam Darnold out 4-6 weeks and rookie Matt Corral out for the season. The 24-year-old likely will not have any fantasy value in 2022.
The Seattle Seahawks cut QB Jacob Eason Tuesday.
Eason was claimed off waivers from the Colts last season. The former fourth-round pick appeared in one game last season for the Colts, completing two of his five pass attempts. Eason could be a practice squad candidate for the Seahawks who go into the season with Drew Lock and Geno Smith as the QBs on their roster.
