WR - MIA
Jakeem Grant is expected to see an increased role for the Miami Dolphins this year. Both Allen Hurns and Albert Wilson have opted out of playing this season, which is why Grant should see a larger role on the team.
Grant should come in as the third wide receiver option behind Devante Parker and Preston Williams. Grant could see some value early on if he is able to connect with Ryan Fitzpatrick, who is likely to start the season as the Dolphins quarterback. In any scenario, Grant is not a top fantasy option and should not be drafted in most fantasy leagues.
Jakeem Grant rushed once for a seven-yard touchdown and caught all three of his targets for 32 yards in the Dolphins' Week 11 loss to the Bills. Grant also housed a 101-yard kick return.
Grant wasn't likely in many starting lineups this week, and that shouldn't change. Despite the huge day, he touched the ball just four times on offense. Players on the Dolphins who get four touches in a game are not exciting for fantasy purposes in almost every case. Don't chase the box score here.
Jakeem Grant caught two of his three targets for 32 yards in the Dolphins' Week 8 loss to the Steelers.
Grant is too far down the target totem pole to be used in fantasy football. He has some gadget/YAC upside in another situation, but is not worth owning for now.
Dolphins' wideout Jakeem Grant is expected to suit up this Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Grant has been able to fully practice all week and is expected to be in the fold for Miami come game time this Monday evening. He currently has nine catches for 52 yards and no scores through five games played this year.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Dolphins WR Jakeem Grant (hamstring) will not play in Week 6.
Grant will not play in Sunday's tilt with the Redskins but is expected to return in Week 7. With Grant out, Preston Williams and Devante Parker will handle the wide receiver duties for Miami.
