James Cook III quiet Sunday

James Cook III ran for 53 yards on 13 carries in the Bills 30-13 loss against the Dolphins. He also caught 5-of-5 passes for 24 yards.

Fantasy Impact

It was an unusual afternoon for the Bills offense as they did not score until the fourth quarter. Cook also lost a fumble on the day. His five receptions salvaged his day in PPR leagues. He remains an RB1 moving forward.

James Cook III (ankle) upgraded to limited Thursday

James Cook III (ankle) was upgraded to a limited participant at practice on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Cook was back at practice on Thursday. He was a non-participant on Wednesday due to an ankle issue, but it doesn't look like it will be a serious issue for him heading into the weekend. Fantasy managers should continue to have high expectations for him moving forward, assuming this injury doesn't prove to be more than a minor obstacle.

James Cook III leads team in rushing Sunday

James Cook III rushed the ball 27 times for 114 yards and caught one pass for 11 yards in Sunday's 28-21 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Impact

Cook saw 28 total touches on Sunday, which is a lot more than he is used to. He did pretty well with his opportunities, ending the game as the team's leading rusher and totaling 125 yards on the day. His fantasy total didn't quite reflect his value in real life, however, as he wasn't able to get into the end zone and caught just one pass over the course of the game.
