Javon Kinlaw
DT - Washington Commanders
Week 14 Outlook
Availability
Javon Kinlaw is expected to play on Sunday against the Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact
Kinlaw returned to practice after missing time earlier in the week. He should be good to go on the Commanders defensive line.
The Washington Commanders have agreed on a three-year deal with defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw, formerly with the San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets.
Fantasy Impact
Kinlaw is earning $45 million and $30 million guaranteed. He has had back-to-back seasons with 3.5+ sacks and 9+ pressures from the middle of the defense while adding 4+ TFLs as well. The Commanders look to beef up their defensive interior and will do so with the 6-foot-5-inch, 319-pound Kinlaw.
Javon Kinlaw reached agreement on a one-year deal with the New York Jets.
Fantasy Impact
Kinlaw spent the first four seasons of his career with the 49ers. He started in six games last season, but appeared in all 17 of them. He reunites with Robert Saleh on the defensive side of the ball with the Jets.
San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw is inactive for Monday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams.
Fantasy Impact
Kinlaw is dealing with a knee injury that caused him to miss the first two practices of the week. He managed to get in a limited practice on Saturday but was walking with a noticeable limp when he returned to the locker room during pre-game warmups. The 49ers have yet to find a way to unlock Kinlaw’s upside, but he is a valuable starter who will be missed. Kinlaw is a dynasty-only option for fantasy purposes and remains a high upside depth stash.
DL Javon Kinlaw (COVID-19) has been placed on the league's Reserve/COVID-19 list, per Adam Schefter.
Fantasy Impact
Kinlaw was placed on the league's Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday, just days after DL Arik Armstead and WR Kendrick Bourne were placed onto it. Fortunately, the 49ers signed former Falcons' DL Takk McKinley off waivers on Wednesday, which will help out their depleted defensive front. With a Week 11 Bye, Kinlaw and others are afforded additional time to recover and return from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
