Week 13 Outlook
Javonte Williams rushed for 65 yards on 18 carries in the Broncos' 29-12 win over the Browns on Sunday. He added just six yards on three receptions through the air.
It was nice to see Williams heavily involved once again, but he struggled with efficiency against the Browns' defense despite teammate Samaje Perine averaging over seven yards a carry. His receiving numbers were nothing to write home about either. On the bright side, he'll face an easier matchup next week when Denver takes on Houston.
Javonte Williams rushed for 37 yards on 11 carries in the Broncos’ 21-20 win over the Vikings. He caught 2-of-2 targets for an additional 16 yards.
Williams unfortunately ran into a solid Vikings’ run defense and struggled to get anything consistent going. The 23-year-old is still the lead back for the Broncos and is a solid start moving forward, but he will face a tough test in Week 12 against Cleveland.
Javonte Williams carried the ball 21 times for 79 yards and added four catches for 31 yards and a touchdown in a 24-22 win over the Bills in Week 10.
Williams hauled in a three-yard TD pass from Russell Wilson early in the fourth quarter to give the Broncos the lead. The veteran tailback has really seen his workload increase of late as he has 48 carries over the past two games. Williams will be a solid RB2 in Week 11 against the Vikings.
Javonte Williams rushed for 85 yards on 27 carries in the Broncos’ 24-9 win over the Chiefs. He caught 3-of-3 targets for 13 yards and a touchdown.
Williams opened the scoring with a four-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter. The 23-year-old has topped 80 rushing yards for the second consecutive week and appears to be finding his footing in the new offense. Williams and the Broncos will get a chance to rest up on their Week 9 bye.
Javonte Williams rushed for 82 yards on 15 carries in the Broncos' 19-17 win over the Packers on Sunday. He also caught three of four targets for an additional 14 yards through the air.
Williams has gradually worked his way back into the Broncos' offense post-injury, and a soft Packers run defense presented a great chance for him to get back into full swing. Indeed, he was quite productive, totaling 5.5 YPC while also getting involved in the passing game. The Chiefs offer a tough matchup in Week 8, but Williams is still an RB3 for fantasy purposes.
