Williams had some early success on Thursday, culminating in his early touchdown plunge on the Cowboys' first drive. However, he didn't get much going after that, as the Dallas offense stalled completely until the fourth quarter. He's not particularly efficient, but the volume is there, and he should be a viable RB2 most weeks.

Williams struggled to get anything consistent going against the Commanders' rush defense. Williams has logged 12 carries in both games this season, but has failed to get anything consistent going yardage wise. Williams and the Cowboys will take on the Ravens in Week 3.

Williams was arguably Dallas' most impactful offensive player on Sunday night. He scored two touchdowns and totaled 72 yards on a night where the entire offense struggled, leaving him with a surprisingly good fantasy total on the week. He is clearly the team's bellcow running back at this point and should be viewed as a high quality fantasy option for the foreseeable future.
