Javorius Allen headed to IR

Javorius Allen has been placed on IR for an undisclosed injury, per comments from Sean Payton.

Fantasy Impact

Allen came over to the Saints after four years with the Ravens, but it appears his time in New Orleans is done. As a result, the Saints signed former Redskins RB Rob Kelly today. Theo Riddick worked out for the Saints this week and is hopeful to snag a roster spot after being released by Detroit.

Javorius Allen reportedly signs with Saints

Allen has signed on with the Saints, a source told ESPN's Field Yates on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact

Allen quickly fell out of favor in Baltimore last season following the Ravens' midseason acquisition of Ty Montgomery. "Buck" had just 110 rushing yards on 41 carries (2.7 YPC) and three scores in 2018, and will go into New Orleans as a candidate for the No. 3 rushing role behind Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray. He has no tangible fantasy value at the moment.

Javorius Allen gains two yards

Baltimore Ravens running back Javorius Allen rushed for two yards on his lone touch in a 34-17 win over the Raiders in Week 12.

Fantasy Impact

Allen has fallen out of favor in Baltimore, seeing just two touches over his past two games. With Ty Montgomery now operating as the team's receiving back, Allen has no fantasy value left.

Javorius Allen sees one touch in Week 11

Baltimore Ravens running back Javorius Allen saw just one touch, a two-yard carry, in his team's 24-21 win over the Bengals in Week 11.

Fantasy Impact

Allen took a backseat to undrafted rookie Gus Edwards, who may have seized the lead back role in Baltimore. Allen owners can safely send him to waivers across all leagues.

Javorius Allen gains just nine yards on five catches

Baltimore Ravens running back Javorius Allen rushed one time for six yards and added five receptions for nine yards in Week 9. His team went on to lose to the Steelers 23-16.

Fantasy Impact

This goes down as the typical Buck Allen showing. He saw some work in the passing game but basically added nothing after the catch. He will be a part of a three-way backfield with Ty Montgomery and Alex Collins when he comes out of his Week 10 bye.
