J.J. McCarthy (hand) suffers hairline fracture, out Week 17

J.J. McCarthy (hand) has suffered a hairline fracture and is out for Week 17. Max Brosmer is expected to start.

Fantasy Impact

It’s awful timing, as McCarthy was on a roll. Brosmer was abysmal in his one start, which will severely limit the upside of every pass catcher in the offense. McCarthy may return in Week 18, but his season may be over.
