Jordan Lasley among Lions' first cuts

Jordan Lasley was released by the Lions on Friday, Jeff Zrebiec reports.

Fantasy Impact

Lasley tried to make a roster with three different teams this summer, but his efforts were in vain. He should be able to find a job somewhere, given his abilities on special teams.

Jordan Lasley totals four yards in loss

Jordan Lasley caught one of two targets for four yards in the Lions’ loss to the Browns in Thursday’s preseason finale.

Fantasy Impact

After landing with the Lions this offseason, Lasley has done little to separate from the competition. He's highly unlikely to make the final roster.

Jordan Lasley signs with Lions

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting the Lions have signed WR Jordan Lasley.

Fantasy Impact

Lasley is on to his third team of the offseason. Last year's fifth-round pick by the Ravens is shaping up to be an NFL wash-out.

Jordan Lasley turning heads at OTAs

Baltimore Sun Contact Reporter Mike Preston observed the Ravens' second full day of open practice and says fifth-round wide receiver Jordan Lasley has "been impressive" and has been consistently so throughout OTAs.

Fantasy Impact

Preston mentioned that Lasley had some drops but is definitely a player to "keep an eye on." Michael Crabtree, John Brown and Willie Snead are the favorites to lead the revamped Baltimore receiving corps, but Lasley has a wide open path to the club's No. 4 role, needing only to beat out Chris Moore, Jaleel Scott, and former first-round bust Breshad Perriman, who Preston refers to as "Mr. May" for his strong camp showings followed by no-showing when the games count. Lasley is a name to target in the fourth-round of rookie drafts.

Jordan Lasley has horrid Combine

UCLA wide receiver Jordan Lasley was among those who hurt their stock the most at the NFL Combine on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact

It was a day to forget for Lasley, who started the Combine with an average 4.50-second 40-yard dash. That's the least of his concerns after he botched the gauntlet, as he was double-catching or fumbling almost every ball that came his way and was all over the line. Not just that, though, as he dropped multiple balls throughout drills and just looked flat-out clumsy. While it is just one day, it's when all eyes are on him, so this will negatively affect his draft stock.
