Packers coach Matt LaFleur said rookie tight end Luke Musgrave is earning first-team reps in OTAs.

LaFleur added that Musgrave "looks different" than what the Packers have had at tight end in past and that he is a quick learner. "He does have an elite trait in that he can flat fly, and he's a large target," LaFleur said. The Packers selected Musgrave in the second-round back in April and he seems to be playing himself into an immediate role early on in camp. There is still a lot of offseason left for him to prove himself, but he appears to have the early edge among Green Bay tight ends to see the field quite a bit this season.

The Green Bay Packers have selected TE Luke Musgrave with the No. 42 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
