LB - SEA
Week 13 Outlook
The Seattle Seahawks signed LB Mychal Kendricks to their practice squad.
Kendricks spent the past two seasons with Seattle but went unsigned this offseason. He had some legal issues to work through, which likely played into the lack of interest from NFL teams. Kendricks will spend some time getting in shape while on Seattle's practice squad.
Seahawks linebacker Mychal Kendricks is officially active for the team's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football despite being limited this week by a hamstring injury.
Kendricks had 13 tackles against his former team when the Seahawks traveled to Philadelphia last week, but there was some question about his availability after he was limited earlier in the week and missed practice late in the week due to a lingering hamstring issue.
Mychal Kendricks ended Sundays 27-20 win over the Falcons with seven total tackles (six solo) and an interception.
Kendricks is third on the team in total tackles with 41 through Week 8. He is worth rostering in deeper leagues. It will be hard to predict if Kendricks can get another interception this season, but it’s nice to see him get one against a bad Atlanta squad.
Mychal Kendricks ended Sunday’s 27-10 win over the Cardinals with six total tackles (five solo) and two sacks.
Even though Kendricks has an excellent defensive performance, he probably isn’t worth roster at this time. The Seahawks play the Cardinals again in Week 16, so keep this game in mind if Kendricks is available on waivers for the playoffs.
Seahawks linebacker Mychal Kendricks suffered a broken tibia in Monday night’s win over the Vikings. The injury will force him to miss the rest of the season.
Kendricks suffered the injury in his first game back from an eight game suspension stemming from insider trading charges. He’s set to be sentenced in January and is facing a possible two-to-three years in prison. At 28 years old, it’s possible he has played his last down in the NFL.
