TE - TEN
Week 2 Outlook
Former Tennessee Titans TE MyCole Pruitt has reportedly signed a deal with the San Francisco 49ers, per Tom Pelissero.
Pruitt enters his seventh year in the league as a member of the San Francisco 49ers, spending his last three seasons primarily as a blocking tight end for the Titans. Expect 49ers' head coach Kyle Shannahan to use Pruitt in a similar way, as he saw only 27 targets during his three-year tenure in Tennesse but started at least 11 games in each season. Pruitt's signing will help the 49ers seal blocks on the edge, which is a key component of the run-centric offense. As it stands, this signing does nothing to devalue George Kittle in any fantasy format but could elevate Raheem Mostert, Wayne Gallman, and Trey Sermon.
MyCole Pruitt caught one of two targets on Sunday as the Titans defeated the Lions by a 46-25 score in Week 15 action.
Pruitt now has five catches on the season as the 28-year-old tight end has not been a big part of the Titan's offense. Pruitt can be left on the waiver wire.
MyCole Pruitt caught one pass for 22 yards and a touchdown on Sunday as the Titans lost to the Browns by a 41-35 score in Week 13 action.
Pruitt also scored a touchdown when he picked up AJ Brown's fumble and ran it three yards for a touchdown. Pruitt is not a big part of the offense and has just four catches on the season and can be left on the waiver wire.
Titans TE MyCole Pruitt (knee) won't play in Thursday's Week 10 game against the Colts.
Pruitt would've had a chance to play if this game was on Sunday, but the short turnaround rules him out. Anthony Firsker will operate as Jonnu Smith's primary backup.
MyCole Pruitt did not catch the only pass thrown to him on Sunday as the Titans lost to the Bengals by a 31-20 score in Week 8 action.
Pruitt remains third on the depth chart at tight end for the Titans. The 28-year-old has three catches for 17 yards on the season and should be left on the waiver wire.
