RB - Los Angeles Chargers
Availability
Omarion Hampton ran for 85 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries in the Chargers 34-17 win over the Cowboys. He also caught 1-of-2 targets for 10 yards receiving.
Fantasy Impact
Hampton saw 16 carries to just five for Kimani Vidal, who left early with a neck injury. He will be a volume-based RB2 in a tough matchup next week against the Texans.
Omarion Hampton rushed the ball 15 times for 61 yards and caught one pass for four yards in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fantasy Impact
Hampton had an okay performance on Sunday, but it was a bit underwhelming from a fantasy perspective. He totaled 65 yards on the day but ended with only one catch and wasn't able to get into the end zone at all, which left him with a modest fantasy total. He should look a lot better in an easier matchup against the Cowboys next week.
Omarion Hampton rushed the ball 13 times for 56 yards and caught two passes for 11 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's 22-19 OT win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
Monday night was the rookie's first game back after missing a large part of the season due to an ankle injury. He looked pretty good in his first game back, totaling 67 yards and a touchdown against a good Philadelphia defense. He did see less total carries than Kimani Vidal, however, which is slightly concerning if that doesn't change as he continues to ramp back up to full health.
Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) is officially active for Week 14.
Fantasy Impact
Hampton was activated from injured reserve earlier in the day and will make his long awaited return after suffering a fractured ankle in Week 5. Fantasy managers should expect Hampton to lead the Chargers’ backfield, with Kimani Vidal serving as the backup.
The Chargers officially activated Omarion Hampton from injured reserve and is expected to play in Monday's game against the Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
As had been reported, Hampton will be making his return after being sidelined since fracturing his ankle in Week 5 against Washington. After getting in two weeks of practice, Hampton should return to his lead role in the Chargers backfield.
