Week 14 Outlook
Patrick Taylor Jr. rushed for 29 yards on two carries during the Packers' 27-19 win over the Chiefs in Week 13. He was unable to haul in his lone target.
Most of Taylor's yardage came from a big 24-yard run. Despite the burst play, he was given just two touches the entire game. He remains off the fantasy radar for Week 14 versus the Giants.
Patrick Taylor Jr. rushed for 11 yards on three carries in the Packers’ 29-22 win over the Lions. He caught his lone target for four yards.
Taylor saw limited opportunities Thursday as the backup to AJ Dillon as the Packers continue to navigate a backfield that is missing Aaron Jones. Taylor should continue to operate as a backup until Jones returns, but is not fantasy viable heading into Week 13.
Patrick Taylor Jr. has been released by the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers are bringing LB Justin Hollins back on the team, and they're releasing Taylor as a result. He's had limited work this year, but with Aaron Jones coming back, the team may not need him on the active roster anymore. He has a good shot of coming back and resigning with the practice squad sometime in the near future.
The Packers have signed RB Patrick Taylor to their 53-man roster.
Taylor was out of practice squad elevations and the team needed another option with RB Aaron Jones set to be inactive Monday. The 25-year-old has totaled 29 rushing yards on nine attempts in three games this season.
Patrick Taylor Jr. rushed the ball twice for six yards and caught three passes for 23 yards in Sunday's 18-17 win over the Saints.
Taylor was elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's game with Aaron Jones (hamstring) being ruled out ahead of game time. He did okay in his limited work, but nothing that was of any note for fantasy managers. He will revert to the practice squad and won't be relevant at all when Jones makes his return to the lineup in the near future.
