Large back with great size to be a Goal Line role player in the NFL. Good patience behind the line, when he can, and will wait for a hole to develop. Bounces and then will explode forward to hit the hole. Decent burst and acceleration for a back his size. Good in short areas, but struggles to maintain that motor for very long. Good change of direction from shifting momentum leg to leg, but struggles to change direction laterally. Runs upright, which limits his lateral mobility. Good power for the position. Able to lower his head and carry his mass into smaller defenders to knock them backwards. Succeeds at moving the chains and picking up tough yards. Lacks great top-end speed. Struggles to pull away consistently at the 2nd level and rarely reaches the 3rd level. Will be constantly caught from behind in the NFL. Good, but not great, contact balance. Able to absorb hits and keep his legs moving, but for minimal yardage. Excellent pass catcher out of the backfield and was used all over the formation at Memphis. Used downfield and able to reel in difficult catches very naturally. Doesn't excel in pass protection situations though. Surprising given his size, but constantly was driven backwards. Willing participant, but struggles. Overall, a big back who could be given a role as a UDFA or late round pick. Lack of top-end speed will hurt his ability to be given a consistent role. Great at moving the chains and picking up four yards a clip, but struggles to put together anything else spectacular (outside of the receiving game).
