QB - CAR
Week 8 Outlook
Panthers QB P.J. Walker completed 3-of-14 passes for 33 yards and rushed one time for a 13 yard gain in Sunday's Week 7 loss to the Giants.
Walker was just as bad as Sam Darnold. This is just a poor Panthers offense without Christian McCaffrey. They need CMC back and they also need a quarterback. These bridge quarterbacks since moving on from Cam newton are not getting the job done.
Phillip Walker went 10-for-21 for 161 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers loss.
Walker's best play was hitting Terrace Marshall for a 60-yard gain on a broken coverage. Other than that, Walker was pretty average. He does have the backup position locked down behind Sam Darnold. He will look to improve his efficiency next week.
Panthers QB Phillip Walker completed 5-of-14 passes for 95 yards and three interceptions in Sunday's Week 17 loss to the Saints.
The Saints had their way with both Walker and Teddy Bridgewater. The Panthers could not get going at all. The Panthers may have to think about their quarterback situation in 2021 despite being tied to Bridgewater.
Panthers QB Phillip Walker completed 24-of-34 passes for 258 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions while losing two yards on five rushing attempts in Sunday's Week 11 win over the Lions.
Walker was impressive in the win despite a few giveaways. In fact, he was better than expected for the former XFL star. Walker will get another start in Week 12 if Teddy Bridgewater can't go.
The Carolina Panthers will start PJ Walker at quarterback in Week 11 vs. the Lions in place of the injured Teddy Bridgewater.
