Walker had fallen behind Dorian Thompson-Robinson and recently signed QB Joe Flacco on the depth chart. The 28-year-old could be resigned to the practice squad or look to join another team.

P.J. Walker completed 15-of-31 passes for 248 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions in the Browns' 20-24 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.

Walker struggled with accuracy on Sunday, failing to connect with his receivers yet again. In his three starts, he has failed to complete more than 50% of his passes twice. He threw for a touchdown, something that he had yet to do this season. But he continued to struggle with turnovers. Fantasy managers will hope Deshaun Watson can return to form quickly so the Cleveland pass catchers can be trusted to perform with more consistency.

Walker will make his second start and third appearance of the season for the Browns with Deshaun Watson (shoulder) ruled out. Fantasy managers should likely find another option this week and view Walker as a QB3 against the Seahawks.

Walker has taken most of the snaps at QB for the Browns over the last couple of games and is expected to start in Week 8. The fourth-year QB has completed 50.0 percent of his passes for 370 yards and a 0-to-3 TD/INT ratio in two games (one start) so far this season.

P.J. Walker completed 15 of his 32 passes for 178 yards and an interception while adding three yards on three carries in a 39-38 win over the Colts in Week 7.

Deshaun Watson got the start but only wound up throwing five passes before taking a big hit. He then went to the medical tent for a concussion test, which he cleared. Despite the Browns never ruling Waton out of the game, Walker stayed in for the remainder of the contest. Walker didn't look particularly sharp but he did enough to allow the Browns to prevail in the thrilling back-and-forth contest. If Watson isn't able to play in Week 8, Walker will presumably get the start in a road matchup against Seattle.
