Rashard Higgins
WR - CLE
2021 Outlook
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports the Browns are re-signing WR Rashard Higgins.
Fantasy Impact
Higgins will resume his No. 3 wideout role assuming Odell Beckham Jr. (ACL) remains with Cleveland. "Hollywood" shouldn't be viewed more than a bye-week filler entering 2021.
Browns wide receiver Rashard Higgins, an impending free agent, wants to return to Cleveland next season but hasn't been offered a new contract yet.
Fantasy Impact
Higgins impressed this past season in the absence of Odell Beckham Jr., making him one of the most intriguing under-the-radar pass-catchers set to hit free agency. Nevertheless, a standstill continues to ensue on the negotiating front. "I haven’t seen an offer yet," Higgins said. This is somewhat surprising as he would provide outstanding depth to a Browns receiving corps that has shown flashes of excitement if it can stay healthy. If he were to return, Higgins would slot in as the No. 3 receiver behind Beckham and Jarvis Landry. He currently resides as the WR100 in the latest expert consensus draft rankings.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Rashard Higgins caught 5-of-7 passes for 88 yards in a 22-17 loss to the Chiefs in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
Fantasy Impact
Higgins led the team in receiving but it was a play that he didn't make that will be remembered. Higgins lost a fumble through Kansas City's end zone while trying to extend the ball over the goal line, resulting in a touchback for the Chiefs. Higgins will become a free agent this offseason and could find himself in a different city in 2021.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Rashard Higgins caught 2-of-7 targets for 28 yards in a 48-37 win over the Steelers in the Wild Card round.
Fantasy Impact
Higgins was third on the team in targets but just couldn't get much going. He will be an interesting sleeper in DFS against the Chiefs in the Divisional Round next week.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Rashard Higgins caught 2-of-3 targets for 55 yards in a 24-22 win over the Steelers in Week 17.
Fantasy Impact
Higgins led the Browns in receiving, with most of his production coming on a 42-yard reception. The veteran wideout turned in a solid second half of the season. He will face the Steelers again next week in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
