Sterling Shepard has been released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Shepard signed with the Buccaneers earlier this offseason, but he wasn't able to earn a spot on their active roster. He may end up being scooped up by another team, but if he isn't, Tampa Bay is looking to bring him back as a member of their practice squad. He won't be fantasy relevant for the start of the season no matter where he ends up.
