Week 10 Outlook
Availability
Trevor Davis brought in both of his targets for 26 yards in the Raiders' 42-24 loss to the Packers Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Davis saw just two looks Sunday and is not worthy of fantasy consideration.
Trevor Davis caught five of six targets for 78 yards and a TD in the Packers' loss to the Raiders on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Davis saw his first action of the preseason in the receiving game and turned his opportunity into a big day. The fourth-year man from Cal should have a secure roster spot thanks to his Special Teams abilities - particularly in the return game.
Trevor Davis has been activated from the injured reserve.
Fantasy Impact
Davis is more likely to contribute on special teams, and he's not expected to see meaningful time as a WR for the Packers. As such, he's not fantasy relevant at this point.
The Packers are looking to deal Trevor Davis prior to final cuts.
Fantasy Impact
Davis has been primarily used as a kick and punt returner by the Packers during his two seasons in the league. With a plethora of players fighting for spots in the Packers WR corp, Davis appears to be one of the potential cuts if a trade cannot be reached.
Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel thinks that the only way third-year wide receiver Trevor Davis can make Green Bay's 53-man roster is if he wins both the kick and punt return jobs in training camp. Davis was held out of OTAs and minicamp practices for medical reasons, which gave other players a chance to earn return opportunities.
Fantasy Impact
Davis is excellent on special-teams and ranked among the NFL's top punt returners in 2017, but has caught just eight passes in two pro seasons. The Packers also added J'Mon Moore, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Equanimeous St. Brown in the 2018 NFL Draft to make it even more difficult to justify keeping a player, like Davis, who is merely a return specialist and doesn't contribute to the offense. Even if he makes the Packers, Davis has no fantasy value outside of return yardage leagues.
