RB - ATL
Week 13 Outlook
Tyler Allgeier rushed 11 times for 54 yards in Atlanta's Week 12 loss to Washington.
Both Allgeier and Cordarrelle Patterson saw 11 carries, with Allgeier barely finishing first in rushing yards with 54. He did not see any targets, however, as Patterson served as the primary passing back this week. Allgeier continues to see insufficient volume to warrant starting in 12-team leagues. He'll take on the Steelers in Week 13.
Tyler Allgeier rushed eight times for 55 yards and hauled in his lone target for nine yards in Atlanta's Week 11 victory versus Chicago.
Allgeier has seen a reduced workload in the last two weeks with Cordarrelle Patterson firmly back in the mix. He actually recorded 30 of his 55 rushing yards on the final drive of the game to seal the deal for the Falcons. Despite the healthy 6.9 yards per carry, Allgeier's current usage renders him startable only in deeper formats. He'll have a difficult matchup with the Commanders for Week 12.
Tyler Allgeier rushed eight times for 20 yards and hauled in all three of his targets for -17 yards in Atlanta's Week 10 defeat to Carolina.
Allgeier was bottled up for merely 20 rushing yards on eight carries, but the real lowlight was that he somehow recorded three receptions for -17 receiving yards. To be fair, those were due to short dump offs thrown by Marcus Mariota that the Panthers defense had zero trouble stopping instantly. He did manage to lead all rushers in touches, but finished with fewer yards than Mariota, Caleb Huntley, and Avery Williams. Allgeier should be able to rebound nicely versus Chicago in Week 11, where he remains a touchdown-dependent RB3/RB4 for fantasy purposes.
Tyler Allgeier rushed 10 times for 99 yards and hauled in his lone target for 24 yards in Atlanta's Week 9 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Allgeier got off to a fast start, as he ripped off a 44-yard run on the third play of the game, to help the Falcons eventually earn a touchdown on the opening drive. He led the team in rushing yards and was incredibly efficient with 9.9 yards per carry. He additionally finished second in receiving yards with 24. However, it was Cordarrelle Patterson who led the team with 13 carries and punched in both scores. Allgeier has received double-digit rushing attempts in seven of eight weeks he's played this season, though his workload may decrease going forward with Patterson back in the mix. Allgeier will remain a touchdown-dependent RB3/RB4 against the Panthers in Week 10.
Tyler Allgeier rushed 14 times for 39 yards and hauled in all three of his targets for 46 yards and one touchdown in Atlanta's Week 8 win versus Carolina.
Allgeier's three receptions and 46 receiving yards each produced new season highs, after he had just two catches for 25 yards on the entire season. However, he mustered only 2.8 yards per carry, while his counterpart Caleb Huntley averaged a healthy 5.7 yards per carry. Even if Cordarrelle Patterson is unable to make his return for Week 9 versus the Chargers, Allgeier should be considered a touchdown-dependent RB3 for that one, with Huntley evenly splitting the rushing workload.
