The Cardinals agreed to terms on a two-year, $12.25 million deal with Tyler Allgeier.

Allgeier joins James Conner and Trey Benson in the backfield for Arizona. He had potential other landing spots where he could have had more of a feature role if Conner remains in Arizona. This will remain a backfield to monitor the rest of the offseason.

Allgeier did not find much room to run the ball Monday night, but he is now just a couple yards short of 500 for the season to go with eight touchdowns. He's one of the best "backup" RBs in the league and has formed a potent tandem with starter Bijan Robinson all season.

Allgeier was a good contributor for the Falcons on Sunday. He led the team with 79 rushing yards and was able to maintain strong efficiency in the process. He didn't have a great fantasy total, however, and remains off of the fantasy radar for the last couple games of the season.
