Allgeier finished with ten touches and 49 total yards (one score). I expect Allgeier to flirt with 10-12 touches again this week as a solid flex play. Among 45 qualifying rushers, Allgeier ranks tenth in yards after contact per attempt and 32nd in missed tackle rate. If he can get into the end zone again this week, he'll pay off for fantasy managers. He faces a run defense that has allowed the highest explosive run rate, the 12th-highest rushing success rate, and the second-most yards before contact per attempt.
Monitor the status of Jeremiyah Love, who appeared to have sustained some sort of lower-leg injury on Sunday that limited his availability in the Cardinals' Week 4 loss to the Giants.
Love's backup is the rugged and capable Tyler Allgeier, who had a 22-yard TD run for the Cardinals on Sunday. Love, the No. 3 overall draft pick in this year's draft, has asserted himself as Arizona's lead back. But Allgeier is unquestionably one of the more valuable handcuff RBs, and if Love misses Week 5, Allgeier would be ranked inside the top 20 at running back this week vs. the Lions.
