Tyler Higbee caught three of four targets for 11 yards in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Coming off his best game of the season, Higbee was unable to repeat that strong performance. He is clearly one of Baker Mayfield's preferred targets, but it didn't equate to much on Sunday. The Rams face the Seattle Seahawks next week.
Tyler Higbee (elbow) is expected to play against the Chargers Sunday.
Higbee was listed as questionable due to an elbow injury. The veteran tight end currently ranks as the TE9 in ECR, according to FantasyPros. He should rank as a low-end TE1 against the Chargers’ defense.
Tyler Higbee (rest, elbow) remained limited during practice on Friday. He is officially questionable to play against the Chargers in Week 17.
Higbee put on a show last week, catching nine passes for 94 yards and two touchdowns. It looks like he's trending towards playing on Sunday, in which case he would rank as a low-end TE1 for fantasy purposes.
Tyler Higbee caught nine of his 11 targets for 94 yards and two touchdowns in a Week 16 win over Denver.
Higbee was on the receiving end of both of Baker Mayfield’s touchdowns in the win Sunday. Higbee led the team in targets, receptions, and receiving yards against Denver. Mayfield and Higbee had seemingly found a connection in their few short weeks together, making Higbee a solid play against the Chargers in Week 17.
Tyler Higbee caught 4-of-5 targets for 27 yards and one touchdown in the Rams' 24-12 loss to the Packers in Week 15.
Higbee actually led the Rams in targets on the night, a testament to the struggles the team experienced more than anything else. For his part, the 6' 6" TE was able to get into the end zone for the first time this season, contributing the Rams' lone score of the game. Higbee has been a major disappointment as a fantasy option in 2022, and there is no reason to expect him to continue finding pay dirt against the ferocious Broncos' defense in Week 16.
