Van Jefferson
WR - LAR
This Week Outlook
Van Jefferson caught 6-of-7 targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in a 32-18 divisional round loss to the Packers.
Fantasy Impact
Jefferson's two best games both came down the stretch. In Week 17, he saw eight targets, and against the Packers in the playoffs saw seven targets and turned that into 46 yards and a score. Jefferson is a solid dynasty stash, but this Rams offense still runs through Cam Akers, Robert Woods, and Cooper Kupp until further notice.
Van Jefferson caught 4-of-8 targets for 50 yards during the Rams 18-7 win over the Cardinals in Week 17.
Fantasy Impact
Jefferson led the team in targets but was outproduced by Cam Akers. Clearly a talented receiver, Jefferson should see an increase in opportunities heading into the next season. It will be interesting to see how involved he is during the NFC Wildcard game against the Seahawks on Saturday.
Van Jefferson failed to haul in his lone target during the Rams' 20-23 loss to the Jets in Week 15.
Fantasy Impact
As is the case with Josh Reynolds (2 catches), there simply isn't enough volume in this passing game anymore to support a third or fourth receiver. Jefferson has seen an increased role towards the later part of the season but it's not translating to fantasy. He's not a recommended option heading into Week 16.
Van Jefferson did not record a target during the Rams' 24-3 win over the Patriots' in Week 14.
Fantasy Impact
Jefferson appeared to be seeing an increased role over the last few weeks but the trend didn't continue on Thursday. Only with 21 targets on the entire season, Jefferson likely won't be fantasy relevant at any point during his rookie season.
Van Jefferson hauled in 4-of-5 targets for 27 yards during the Rams' 38-28 win over the Cardinals in Week 13.
Fantasy Impact
Jefferson tied his season-high with four receptions and out-targeted Josh Reynolds 5-1. It was a nice showing from Jefferson after getting zero looks a week ago against the 49ers'. Jefferson and Reynolds will likely have decent showings every now and then but don't see enough volume to warrant fantasy relevance.
