Gross-Matos should play in Week 14 against Denver. The second-round pick has totaled 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble so far this season.

Gross-Matos either tested positive or in came in close contact with someone who was infected. The Panthers are on a bye Week 13, so he will have an extra week to clear NFL protocols. Gross-Matos will look to return Week 14 against the Broncos.

The second-round pass-rusher out of Penn State joins a Carolina defense that is putting the pieces together to create a more formidable front seven. They added DT Derrick Brown in the first-round of the 2020 NFL Draft and then selected Gross-Matos in the second. Gross-Matos will join 2019 first-round pick Brian Burns as a 1-2 punch pass-rushing force and be asked to get after the quarterback on a consistent basis.
