Tyler Allgeier Fantasy Football Outlook (ROS)

Tyler Allgeier got the start and rushed for 139 yards and 1 rushing TD (43-yard long run). He carried the ball 7 times for 53 yards in the 1st half. The rookie out-carried Cordarrelle Patterson (14-52-1) but Patterson saw more targets (3 vs. 1) ran more routes and saw a slightly higher snap share (50% vs. 49%). Both guys scored from inside the 5-yard line. 50% opportunity share for Allgeier. Caleb Huntley left early in the game with an injury. Avery Williams had zero carries.
Allgeier is probably the safer of the two Falcons top RBs moving forward, but it's not any great margin with the duo likely splitting touches and snaps near 50/50 rest of the season. However, Allgeier getting the start in both Week 13 and Week 15, along with a higher backfield opportunity share, suggests the team is looking to see more of their rookie RB in a lost season.
