Adonai Mitchell Week 3 Outlook - Jets at Lions
By Derek Brown (FantasyPros), Fri, Sep 25th 2026, 6:35pm EDT
Adonai Mitchell flashed some fantasy upside last week as the WR25 for the week. Through two games, Mitchell has had a 23.1% target share, 2.16 YPRR, and a 25% first-read share. Mitchell has had a predictable 15.7 aDOT while seeing four deep targets (26.6% of his target volume) and a red zone look. Mitchell has a nice matchup this week and offers serious flex upside. Detroit has utilized single-high with 55.4% of their defensive snaps (tenth-most). Against single-high, Mitchell has had a 33% target-per-route run rate and 2.93 YPRR. Also, the Lions have struggled to stop perimeter wide receivers, giving up the 13th-most yards per target and the 12th-most fantasy points per target to the position. Mitchell popped up on the injury report on Thursday with a finger issue, but he managed limited practices on Thursday and Friday. He has been listed as questionable. I'm expecting him to play this week.
