Jayden Daniels Week 5 Outlook - Giants at Commanders

Jayden Daniels practiced in full to open this week (elbow). I'm expecting him to be back this week. He'll be wearing a brace on his non-throwing arm. We'll see how this injury impacts his rushing, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him run less until this injury is further in the rearview mirror. In Week 1, Daniels was the QB13 in weekly scoring while rushing five times for 31 yards on the ground. Daniels has only 5.1 yards per attempt, a 66.7% catchable target rate, and a 56.9% highly accurate throw rate this season. None of those are good passing/accuracy metrics. Despite all of that, Daniels could dismantle the Giants' pass defense this week. New York has allowed the fifth-most passing touchdowns while ranking 16th in passing success rate and 18th in CPOE.
