Though it is hard to argue with a rookie quarterback who is leading his team to heights unprecedented in recent years, Jayden Daniels has cooled off recently from a fantasy perspective after a torrid start. Daniels has gone five straight games without a top-10 weekly finish. In fairness to the phenom, he has finished inside the top 12 in four of those five games, so perhaps I am picking nits. But a Week 10 meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers is not ideal for fantasy scoring out of the quarterback position. The Steelers have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. Daniels' upside as both a passer and a rusher should keep him in the QB1 conversation, but he may not be the clear-cut top-five or six option that his season-long results would suggest.

Jayden Daniels went 15/22 for 209 yards and two passing touchdowns. He added eight rushes for 35 yards.

Fantasy Impact

Daniels has continued his impressive season in the NFL, leading the Commanders to a 7-2 record in his rookie season. Daniels faces a tough Steelers’ defense in Week 10, but he should still fall in the mid-range QB1 conversation and will be a bona fide top-tier QB1 for the rest of the season.
