Peterson said he wants to rush for another 1,000 yards this season. Well, yeah, but how does he do that with a healthy Derrius Guice, Chris Thompson, and Bryce Love? It's either Guice isn't going to be ready to start the season, or Peterson is dreaming. If Guice isn't ready to start the year, Peterson should offer low-end RB2 value, but from everything that's been said, they're expecting Guice to be ready. Peterson is likely nothing more than a handcuff to Guice

With recent news coming out about Derrius Guice dealing with a set back, it seems likely that Washington will run AP into the ground, at least until Guice returns at full strength. That, of course, doesn't mean AP will be efficient or score touchdowns for this lousy offense, but touches do lead to fantasy scoring so don't be ashamed if he is your RB3 entering the season.

I will not be drafting AP this season. He's an early down only RB, who's going to split carries with a superior RB. Guice is likely to get stronger as the season progresses, so it's possible that you get a few usable weeks out of him. The issue is that even if he gets some solid volume...he's going to be on one of the worst teams in the league. Washington isn't likely to have many positive game scripts, so it's a fairly easy situation to avoid.
