Davis showed his big-time playmaking ability last season on numerous occasions and he seemed poised to take a big leap in his second year. However, the Bills also brought in veteran Emmanuel Sanders this off-season in free agency, which puts a damper on Davis' outlook. Sanders didn't sign with this team to sit on the bench and he will be involved in the weekly game plan. Davis and Sanders will most likely rotate in on the outside opposite of Diggs, which means that we might not get the big breakout that we were hoping for from Davis. He holds tremendous upside if something were to happen to Sanders or Diggs where he could step into a full-time role, but otherwise it's important to temper our expectations heading into 2021.

Despite playing as the No. 4 wide receiver behind Stefon Diggs, John Brown, and Cole Beasley last year, Davis managed to make his presence felt, racking up 599 yards and seven touchdowns on just 62 targets. The Bills lost Brown this offseason but gained Emmanuel Sanders. They're not the same player, as Sanders isn't someone who'll stretch the field the way Brown or Davis did/can. If you're looking for a boom-or-bust player in the late rounds who just might pay off, Davis makes sense.

Technically Emmanuel Sanders is the #2 after Diggs, but I've got a feeling about Gabriel Davis. He's the biggest target in the red zone out of the other 2 WRs. He's had an entire offseason to get more familiar with the playbook after his rookie year in the pandemic. I think if the gets a shot he could make some things happen. Live longshot.

Gabriel Davis had a nose for the end zone in his rookie season (7 TDs) and Josh Allen showed confidence in him down the stretch in big spots. It remains a crowded WR situation in BUF with the clear alpha Stefon Diggs. However, Allen sling the rock enough to get others involved and Davis could be a quietly good addition to fantasy rosters. He offers more appeal than many other WR5 in his class.

More targets likely w/ John Brown gone, but Sanders could easily take over as No.2
