Matthew Stafford is the QB16 in fantasy points per game with four weeks with at least 18.5 fantasy points. Stafford has four 300-yard passing days this season and five games with multiple passing touchdowns. Among 30 qualifying passers, Stafford is 16th in yards per attempt, tenth in passing success rate, 20th in catchable target rate, and 23rd in hero throw rate. Washington has had some improvements over the last few weeks as a pass defense, but this is still just a middle-of-the-road pass defense. Over their last five games, Washington has allowed the third-highest CPOE while ranking 15th in passing success rate, 18th in EPA per dropback, and 16th in fantasy points per dropback. Stafford could easily post a nice QB1 day in Week 9.
