18.
Jaylen Waddle
WR - (at NE)
Jaylen Waddle was a bust (3-40) despite team-high six targets (26% target share, 45% air yards share and 65 incomplete air yards). Hold.
Waddle has now topped 82 yards in five of his eight games this season without Hill, averaging nearly seven targets and 74 yards per contest when Hill plays fewer than 50% of snaps or misses entirely (12-game sample size). He's cemented himself as an auto-start WR1 with Hill out. |

127.
Darren Waller
TE - (at NE)
Darren Waller led the team in receiving yards (47) on two catches and three targets (1 RZ target and 23% of the air yards). Ran a route on 63% of the dropbacks - typical of a player coming off IR. Should ramp up similar to how we saw him start the season. In the first matchup versus the Jets earlier this season, he scored twice.
Coach Mike McDaniel said last Monday that Waller would be designated for return from injured reserve on Wednesday. Great schedule, ROS. Add him. Faces the Bengals in Week 16. McDaniel also said they were conservative with him in his first game back. |
