Stefon Diggs
WR - (BYE)
Stefon Diggs caught a team-high 9 of his 10 targets for 138 yards.
Diggs was especially productive downfield, catching all 3 of his targets of 10 or more air yards for 81 yards. It is Diggs' fourth game with at least 100 receiving yards. Additionally, Diggs totaled at least 30 yards against 3 different defenders (Washington: 44, Humphrey: 42, Wiggins: 39); he had not recorded 30 total receiving yards in each of his last three games (Next Gen Stats). His route participation grew to 83% potentially related to Kayshon Boutte's injury. With Kayshon Boutte back, Diggs wasn't running enough routes to be an automatic start. However, Maye and the Patriots still know he is the No.1 guy. And Diggs wants to get paid. He has contract incentives for 70 catches and 1,000-plus yards (Currently at 76 catches for 869 receiving yards). |

Taysom Hill
TE - (BYE)
Because, of course, it was Taysom Hill week. After teasing Hill throughout the season, HC Kellen Moore finally committed to the QB/TE/RB in a plus matchup versus the Jets.
Career day for Hill, who played 34 offensive snaps (44%). He carried the ball 12 times (11designed attempts) for 42 yards (long of 8) and lost a fumble. He caught 4 passes for 36 yards (six targets). And he also threw a 38-yard passing TD. He also caught another TD - but it was overturned on a holding penalty. 113 total yards (including a converted fake punt attempt for a first down). If his usage sticks in Week 17 - hard to imagine as many TEs with this time of weekly upside in their range of outcomes. Great matchup next week versus a beatable Titans' defense in Week 17. |
