Miles Sanders Note

The 24-year-old rushed 16 times for 94 yards against the Saints on Sunday as the Eagles once again rode a strong rushing attack to victory. It was a nice performance in his first game since returning from IR. Sanders was splitting carries with Jordan Howard before the latter exited the game with a knee injury. Sanders served as Philadelphia's lead runner from that point on. His workload would increase if Howard can't play in Week 12.

Boston Scott Note

It's official. Scott needs an injury to one of Miles Sanders or Kenneth Gainwell to even have a shot at weekly touches. He didn't receive a single target or carry in Week 1, while Gainwell played on 25 snaps. Scott can be let go to the waiver wire entering Week 2.

Jordan Howard Note

Howard is a priority waiver wire add entering Week 10 after he seemingly operated as the Eagles' primary ball-carrier in Sunday's loss to the Chargers. Over his past two games Howard has rushed 29 times for 128 yards and three touchdowns. He saw seven more carries than Boston Scott in Week 9. There's a chance that he'll retain a role even when Miles Sanders returns. Consider Howard a low-end RB2 for Week 10 against the Broncos.

Kenneth Gainwell Note

Philadelphia running backs scored four touchdowns in Week 8 against Detroit, but somehow Gainwell accounted for zero of them. The rookie RB was given just one touch in the game's first three quarters. He then led the backfield with 12 touches in an uncompetitive fourth quarter. This was extremely odd, but perhaps Gainwell is just viewed as the pass catching back and this game featured zero negative game script. At the very least it's worth holding onto Gainwell for at least one more week. The Eagles are unlikely to be leading too often rest-of-season.
