He may not be mobile anymore, but he now has D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, Curtis Samuel, Ian Thomas, and Christian McCaffrey at his disposal. He could be the 2020 version of Jameis Winston. Why? Because his defense is going through a major rebuilding process and will be allowing tons of points, forcing the Panthers to throw more than they'd like to. He's going to be a favorite of streamers. He's going to be a great option for those in 2QB leagues.

The Panthers are going to have to throw the ball a ton this upcoming season to keep up in games. While it's unlikely that Bridgewater throws for more than 25 touchdowns, he's got a pretty good supporting cast around him. Bridgewater will be in the streaming conversation more than a few times in 2020.

Bridgewater finds himself starting once again, this time in Carolina. I don't think there could've been a better fit for Bridgewater than with the Panthers. He'll have Christian McCaffrey to rely on in the backfield as well as speedsters DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel on the outside. Bridgewater is known for his affinity for check-downs and no team is better suited for that than the Panthers.

The Panthers look to be heading full rebuild in 2020 and that could mean two things. One, they try to shorten game, run all day and keep their defence off the field. Or two, they get stuck in a heap of shootouts and have to unleash Teddy B. With some serious quality in CMC, DJ Moore, Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel, there's the possibility with a lot of passing upside in this offence, I just don't see it happening with any regularity or predictability, not do I think Bridgewater is good enough to rely on as anything more than a superflex/streaming option.

Deep receiving group in Carolina, could surprise as respectable QB2

27 years old - UFA 2023, potential out 2022
