Hendrickson suffered in relative obscurity for his first three seasons after struggling through injuries and limited playing time. However, an injury to Marcus Davenport, opened the door for the former third round selection to prove himself in a starting role. Even after a strong start to the season, the team opted to get Davenport some playing time upon his return so Hendrickson ended up seeing only 57% of the defensive snaps on the year but still posted an amazing 13.5 sacks. That 2.7% sack rate was the best in the league, 0.6% ahead of the next nearest defender in Aaron Donald. We know that rate is unsustainable but I'm exited to see what type of numbers he can put up in a full-time role with the Bengals playing opposite Sam Hubbard.
