Overall, a well-rounded TE prospect. Powerful and strong with great size. Lacks elite movability, but makes up for that with great hands. Lack of examples of him making contested catches, but no reason to believe he wouldn't win in those. Good speed for his size and carries his weight well. Lacks elite body control though to accelerate and decelerate well. Will be a great option for offenses in the Red Zone and up the seam. Good player.

Cole Kmet (groin) officially active for MNF

Chicago Bears rookie tight end Cole Kmet is active for Monday Night Football against the Minnesota Vikings.

Fantasy Impact

Kmet could see an expanded role with the Bears having no credible threat in the backfield. New head play-caller Bill Lazor may choose to involve his two talented tight ends more frequently as they look to short passes to move the chains. Kmet saw a season-high 47 percent of the snaps in Week 9 against the Tennessee Titans, and if his groin allows for it, he may top that tonight against the Vikings.
