Quinshon Judkins missed Week 6 with an ankle injury. The Browns' other second-year running back, Dylan Sampson, has been out with a knee injury since Week 1, but he was back at practice last week and could be on the verge of a return.
With Judkins and Sampson out, McLaughlin played 61.9% of Cleveland's offensive snaps in Week 6 and had 9-41-0 rushing and 4-14-0 on four targets.
If Judkins is back this week, McLaughlin's fantasy value turns to dust. Even if Judkins and Sampson both remain out, McLaughlin would probably cede some early-down work in Week 7 to Audric Estime, who had a 30.2% snap share in Week 6 and had 9-19-1 rushing, getting a carry on nearly half of his 19 snaps.
Still, we have to mention McLaughlin as a waiver possibility in case he once again operates as Cleveland's lead back in Week 7. If he does, a matchup against the Titans would make McLaughlin a top-30 RB option in another four-team bye week.

McLaughlin and Audric Estimé led the backfield with nine carries each with Quinshon Judkins inactive and Dylan Sampson and Rocket Sanders on injured reserve. With four receptions, he tied for the team lead too. Estimé scored the touchdown, but McLaughlin's expanded role could be just for the week.
