View More NotesIt's Josh Allen's world, and we're just living in it, especially around the goal line. With Allen looking like he can do whatever he wants in the red zone, it was generous of him to let James Cook score at the end of last Thursday's game. Still, Cook was able to break off some explosive runs on his way to 135 rushing yards on the day. Unfortunately, despite hearing that he would be more involved in the receiving game this season, he has only had four receptions for 16 yards across two games. With Allen under center, it's hard to find receiving production at the RB position. That said, with Allen under center, this team will always find ways to put up points. This week, they face a floundering Chargers team that managed to bottle up Ashton Jeanty last week. Without the receiving work or goal-line usage, Cook is more of an RB2 with touchdown upside each week.

Buffalo's offense was firing on all cylinders on Thursday night, and that included Cook. He rushed for 135 yards at an efficient clip of 6.5 yards per carry on the night and was able to get into the end zone on one of those carries. He wasn't very involved in the passing game, but he still dominated the backfield and was the only running back to receive even a single opportunity for the Bills.
