Expert NoteView More Notes
Prototypical 3rd down back. Smooth as a runner between the tackles. Shifty and explosive for his size. Great in pass protection. Excellent pass catcher and route runner out of the backfield. Possesses good speed, but not anything top end. Good burst and agility and good footwork sets him up to be able to make quick subtle movements. Willing and able to run between the tackles at his size. Mismatch lined up out wide or running routes out of the backfield on linebackers. Small. Tough, but does not possess the size to be a 3 down back in the NFL. Will be best used in a landing spot that will have him in obvious passing situations or with an innovative play caller. Good player.

J.J. Taylor rushes for 43 yards against the Raiders
J.J. Taylor ran 11 times for 43 yards in the Patriots' 36-20 Week 3 win over the Raiders.
Taylor, Rex Burkhead, and Sony Michel all received double-digit touches in this one. Taylor ran with burst for most of the afternoon, but surprisingly Michel did as well. Meanwhile, it was Burkhead who scored a total of three touchdowns against Las Vegas. Taylor is a fun player to root for but ultimately only has fantasy value in deeper dynasty formats.
