Herbert fractured a bone in his non-throwing hand a couple of weeks ago. He's not missed any games to this point, but the Pro-Bowl QB was visibly favoring that same arm during Saturday's loss to the Texans. With the Chargers having no shot at catching Denver in the division and a Wild Card spot already wrapped up, the team will take no risks with Herbert before the playoffs begin.
