We're not able to take much from the usage in Week 10, but if we did want to say anything, Kamara did receive 12 touches to Murray's 7 touches. It was a weird game and one where the Saints just didn't run the ball enough. The matchup against the Bucs isn't any easier. The only team that's allowed fewer fantasy points per game to running backs is the Patriots. Seriously, the Bucs have been one of the best run defenses in the game. Of all the production they've allowed to the combination of running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, just 18.8 percent has gone to running backs, which is easily the lowest mark in the league, as no other team is lower than 25.2 percent (Vikings). They've allowed just 72.4 fantasy points on the ground through nine games, which is the lowest mark in the NFL, so this is not a game to get excited about Murray. He's nothing more than a mediocre flex-play who you're hoping for a touchdown with.

Latavius Murray shut down in Week 10 loss

Saints RB Latavius Murray rushed five times for 12 yards and caught both of his targets for seven yards in Sunday's Week 10 loss to Atlanta.

Fantasy Impact

After going off without Alvin Kamara in the lineup, Murray was shut down with him back in it. However, it is not all on him as the Saints' offense could not get going as a whole. The Saints get a terrific bounce-back spot next week against the Buccaneers.
